Archaeology Table

This half term, our topic is the Romans! We will be learning lots about the Roman invasion of Britain and the Celtic resistance led by Queen Boudicca. We will also study Roman designs like roads and aqueducts and use lots of different maps to learn about the spread of the Empire.

Of course, we wouldn’t know anything about the Romans without archaeology! As such, we now have an archaeology table in the classroom. We have been using it to find out what archaeologists do as well as the tools and skills they use. So far we have found mosaic tiles, Roman coins and bits of pottery, but there is still more to find!
