Street Dance Day with Andy Instone from Urban Strides
On Monday 9 November we were delighted to welcome Andy Instone to Woolmore. Andy is an amazing dancer and choreographer. He has worked with many pop stars across the world and he does all the dance steps for Young Voices.
All the classes in KS2 had a street dance session with Andy, and our Young Voices choir had an extra slot. As well as being an amazing dancer and teacher Andy is full of important messages such as how we all need to make effort and work hard to achieve our dreams (don’t let it just be a dream), and that practice makes perfect.
Andy said he had a great day at Woolmore. He thought that the pupils and staff were fantastic and, although he doesn’t usually return to schools he said he would definitely come back to Woolmore. See you soon Andy!
