Well done to the first reception class Lemon Tree for winning the attendance trophy for week beginning 2nd November 2015. 1st place – Lemon Tree with 99.13% 2nd place – Sycamore Tree with 98.75% 3rd place – Sequoia Tree with 98.67%  

We have received a letter and certificate from Medicins Sans Frontieres thanking us for our donation of £1500 in support of their medical and humanitarian relief work. Once again, thank you to our families and staff for helping us to raise such a significant amount of money to help others.

On Monday 9 November we were delighted to welcome Andy Instone to Woolmore. Andy is an amazing dancer and choreographer. He has worked with many pop stars across the world and he does all the dance steps for Young Voices. All the classes in KS2 had a street dance session with Andy, and our Young…

Last week we officially opened the Woolmore Walkway. This means that Year 1 and Year 2 classes can now access their classrooms from the playground. We hope you enjoy the view!  

Just before half term, attendance trophies for overall attendance for Term 1 were given out. We also awarded new style certificates to children with 100% attendance. Click here to find out which classes won the trophies for half term as well how many children received the new certificates!

Kwame Bakoji-Hume visited Woolmore on Monday as part of our learning during Black History Month. We had a whole school assembly and some classes had a Djembe drumming workshop. It was great to meet Kwame and learn more about his home country, Ghana in West Africa.  

Today Sister Christine, our Chair of Governors, joined us for our attendance trophy awards. The classes who won the trophies for week beginning 5th October had very close competition.
