Well done to the classes who won the attendance trophies for the week beginning December 7th. 1st place Year 6 Sycamore Tree with 99.37% 2nd place Year 5 Sequoia Tree with 98.67% 3rd place Year 4 Poplar Tree with 98%  

Well done to the classes who won the attendance trophies for the week beginning 30th November. 1st place Year 6 Sycamore Tree with 99.37% 2nd place Year 5 Sequoia Tree with 99% 3rd place Year 3 Oak Tree with 97.74.

Last Thursday Woolmore was host to the Poplar Partnership Maths League. There were 9 other schools from the borough taking part. We had a great team and we came in 3rd place! Well done to the team! We look forward to the next gathering of mathematical minds.

  Today we learned about the festival of Diwali in Assembly. Diwali is often called the Festival of Light and is celebrated by Hindus, Sikhs and Jains across the world. Well done to the first reception class Lemon Tree for winning the attendance trophy for week beginning 2nd November 2015. 1st place – Lemon Tree with 99.13% 2nd place – Sycamore Tree with 98.75% 3rd place – Sequoia Tree with 98.67%  

We have received a letter and certificate from Medicins Sans Frontieres thanking us for our donation of £1500 in support of their medical and humanitarian relief work. Once again, thank you to our families and staff for helping us to raise such a significant amount of money to help others.
