Red Nose Day
Once again we celebrated Red Nose Day and raised money for charity projects in the UK and Africa. So far we have raised £600. We also had lots of fun! Thank you for your support.

Last Thursday all our pupils worked with a specialist coach and attempted exciting active challenges – jumping, running, throwing and catching. Our challenge is now for them to improve on their personal bests. Keep training and keeping fit!

Last week’s attendance trophy winners were: 3rd place – Lime Tree Reception Class with 98.7% 2nd place – Mulberry Tree Class (Y3) with 99% 1st place – Oak Tree Class (Y3) with 100% Well done to everyone in these classes!

On Thursday 23rd February 2015 our pupils returned after the half term break to our brand new Woolmore School. It was a very exciting day indeed. On Thursday and Friday the children had tours of the school and we have had very positive feedback. They love it! Here are some photos and look out for more soon.

We filled around 700 blue crates with all our equipment and resources. We also got rid of quite a lot of rubbish! In the new school we have mainly new furniture. Fortunately the majority of the old furniture has been distributed to charity (including a school in Ghana) and either recycled or disposed off in a responsible way.

On Tuesday we held our final assembly in the old school. It felt a bit sad but also rather exciting because our next assembly will be in our brand-new school. Every child went home with a new Woolmore book bag and each family now has a souvenir mug with a picture of the Woolmore Welcome Tree.
