Looking after toys

So much learning has been happening in Pear Tree nursery. This week our focus has been on looking after our toys more. We have so much to play with we are remembering to put things away.

We have lots of different resources. These foam blocks are one of our favourites because they are light and wobble a lot!

We love playing with water. We like to pour and splash as well as fill and empty containers. It was interesting when we had ice in there too but we love bubbles the most!

Maths time is fun!

We are learning about numbers. We have been practising counting, finding out amounts and reading numbers up to 10.

This might look like a huge mess but actually we were busy sorting out our toys. It was part of learning how to look after them and part maths. We talked about how we knew they went together in ‘sets’ Maryam said “They look the same”
