World Book Day

World Book Day was on Thursday 3rd March. Children came to school wearing some fantastic costumes of their favourite characters from books: Harry Potter, Matilda, Mr Willy Wonka, The BFG, Where’s Wally, Elsa and many more. The staff dressed up too and we had a new headteacher – Miss Trunchbull and our deputy head was a wolf! The day included lots of exciting reading activities for all the classes and every child went home with World Book Day book.

Year 6 Sycamore Tree read to Apple and Pear Tree Nursery classes.

At the end of the day, Woolmore held their own Open Air Theatre with a performance of The Magic Porridge Pot from the Drama club for the Early Years classes.
