Learning in Lower Key Stage 2 (LKS2)

Lower Key Stage 2 (LKS2) follows Key Stage 1 and covers Year 3 and Year 4. 

We have six classes in LKS2, three Year 3 classes (Mulberry Tree, Oak Tree and Olive Tree) and three Year 4 classes (Pine Tree, Plane Tree and Poplar Tree).

The phase leader is our Assistant Headteacher, Sheba Salih.

The KS2 Curriculum

The National Curriculum is taught in Key Stage 2. The National Curriculum is organised into subject areas:

  • Art and Design
  • Design and Technology
  • English
  • Geography
  • History
  • Information and Communication Technology
  • Mathematics
  • Music
  • Physical Education
  • Science

Religious Education and Personal, Social and Health Education are also taught at Key Stage 2.
