All our Year Groups work on a set topic every term or half term, which links their work across the subjects (reading, writing, maths, science, art, etc). The work our pupils are covering in their topic can be seen in the Year Group's Knowledge Organiser.

Our Year Groups also have targets – a list of skills or knowledge they are aiming to achieve while they do their topic work. The school keeps track of how each pupil is doing in meeting these targets, and teachers will adjust what each individual pupil is doing to help him or her reach these targets.

Parents discuss their child's progress with class teachers on a regular basis and are always welcome to approach teachers to discuss their child's learning or to raise any concerns. If you would like to have a meeting with your child's teacher, please contact the office to make a safe appointment.
